    BACKGROUND

Liam is an Associate Director working for inTAX, a team which specialises in Disputes and Resolution with HMRC.

Liam joined inTAX in September 2022, following 9 years at HMRC where he completed the Tax Professional Development Scheme and led cross-tax fraud investigations into owner managed mid-sized businesses. Although his qualifications were focused on direct taxes, he has knowledge and experience across all taxes and HMRC processes, including Insolvency, Debt Management and Litigation.

Liam’s work focuses on disputes clients have with HMRC, ranging from responding to nudge letters and requests for information by HMRC, to assisting with Code of Practice 9 fraud investigations and everything in between. Liam is also in the process of developing business in the cryptoasset space, building on his personal experience and knowledge as well as his contributions to the HMRC Cryptoasset Policy Team during his tenure.
