Waterbear Education

We advised on the sale of WaterBear Education, a specialist higher education provider for musicians and creative artists, to School of Arts, a private education group operating across France and Belgium. Our role focused on providing tax advice to support the transaction, including the exit of Maven Capital Partners and the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, while management retained a stake in the business. The acquisition provides a strong platform for WaterBear’s next phase of growth, building on its expansion to more than 1,000 students across Brighton and Sheffield and creating opportunities to develop its specialist music education offering as part of a wider European group.
