We advised the vendors of Centre for Energy Equality (CEE) on a multi-million pound minority investment from BGF. Our role focused on tax advisory support to ensure the transaction was structured efficiently for the founding team.

CEE, founded in 2022 by Andrew Ross and John McHugh, designs and develops solutions to address energy poverty and grid flexibility, working with network operators, energy suppliers, local authorities, and communities across the UK. The investment from BGF will power CEE’s next phase of growth as it scales its impact across the energy sector.
