Paul is a Tax Manager advising on tax aspects of corporate transactions. Paul mainly advises small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and large companies but also has experience of working with partnerships and individuals.
Paul works on a range of projects specialising in corporation tax, corporate transactions, due diligence and share schemes and EIS and has built up his expertise in these areas over many years.
Recent projects have included tax due diligence projects, implementation of share option schemes for employers wanting to incentivize their employees, working on various company demergers and management buyouts from the initial stages to obtaining clearances from HMRC and up to implementation of the restructure, and preparing EIS advance assurance clearances.
Paul had a long career with HMRC specialising in enquiry and counter-avoidance work. Most recently Paul spent five years at a leading regional firm as a manager in their tax advisory team.
